Rose 27 Eau de Parfum

Rose has always featured in my life. As a child I can see my grandfather tending the roses in our garden on a warm summer’s day… The scent was so pungent, even to the nose of a child.

How powerfully evocative scent can be, and how fragrance can lift our mood or help bring cherished memories back into focus.

Now, we’re proud to introduce Rose 27 by Madigan - a fresh, floral scent that we have designed in collaboration with a French “Nose” (perfumer) as the perfect complement to our collection of simple, beautiful things.

The fragrance’s heart notes of rose are lifted by sweet, bright top notes of fruit and honey, and underscored by warming vanilla and wood base notes. We feel this blend truly captures what we love most about cashmere - its elegance, its cosy warmth and its soft femininity.

Rose has a special place in my own life story.

For women of my grandmother’s generation, perfume was a luxury item, and a bottle of scent was something to be treasured. When my maternal grandmother received a bottle of rose otto (or pure rose essence) as a gift from her husband, it quickly became her signature scent. And because it was so precious, this perfume came to be associated with special occasions - days when the family would gather together to celebrate, or when something a little out of the ordinary was going to happen. In fact, when my own mother first sampled the Rose 27 fragrance, her first thought was “That’s my mother’s perfume!”.

A scent really does have the power to transport us back to a moment in time, and lets us remember people and the times we shared with them.

By creating Rose 27, we hope to generate new connections and memories, but with a nod to the timeless appeal of my grandmother’s favourite scent.
