The Speckled Cashmere Sweater is an effortless turtleneck sweater. It's an oversized, relaxed and loose fitting turtleneck with rib stitch along the neckline, sleeve and hemline.
Made in our butter-soft slub Cashmere, it is so lightweight that it floats on the body. This yarn is made especially for Madigan, using a heavyweight, 4 ply 100% Cashmere.
Because this is hand knit and hand finished garment, there can be a slight variation in length, but the piece measures approximately 70 cm (27 inches) across the chest, 58-61cm (23-24 inches) in length at the front & 60-63cm (25-26 inches) for the length at the back.
Please note that these pieces are made to order and can take up to 3 weeks to produce, unless available in-store.

We use a hand flat knitting technique which was popular in Ireland from about the 50s to the 80s. We believe this handmade process adds character that cannot be replicated by machine knitting.

Being Irish, it makes us proud to be able to offer a luxury Irish garment which is designed and made in Ireland. This garment is entirely made in Ireland from the design to the hand knitting.
